Global Deeds is devoted to disrupting the cycle of poverty by assisting schools, teachers and corporations in the process of empowering low-income youth through modern educational and employment opportunities. Students develop the skill set needed for personal and career success after going through our training program. With our collaborative network of corporate sponsors and advocates, we will cultivate enthusiasm in the next generation and ultimately reduce poverty rates in the Global Deeds community and beyond.
A qualified candidate should possess excellent writing, verbal communication, and computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel). The candidate must be highly organized with the ability to implement systems, follow-up processes, use independent judgment, and produce high quality work within tight time constraints. There will be a training session before being assigned the official role of Grant Writer.
A bachelor’s degree is required, and/or a minimum of 5 years of working experience as a grant writer. The candidate must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, be proficient in research (accessing, interpreting and analyzing diverse data), and he/she must possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve the goals of the organization.
